Hi all! I've got a 2018 Audi Q3 (U.S. model) with the stock navigation system.

I would like to replace the current head unit with a RSNAV unit, but the website currently says it's not compatible with stock nav systems.
What would the issue be if I installed an RSNAV unit into my Audi?
The stock nav sucks, so I don't mind if I lose it.

Cheers!

If you have RMC unit with navigation, then it's compatible, I have the same. Just need to buy the AMI to AUX-In cable or AMI to RCA to have sound, supposing you have AMI interface.
If you have Aux-in port, then it's directly compatible

Audi Q3 2.0 TDI Quattro SE model 2013 , MMI RMC with "Audi Sound System", factory navigation and AMI Interface, RSNAV RSB-8 8" Android 7, v3.0 HW

Thanks for the update! Yes, I've got the AMI interface so it's good to know I need the additional cable in there.
I see now they are considering moving to a new platform, but it sounds like they'll drop the Q3 from their offering. Kind of a shame since I would wait for the Qualcomm platform.

@kostas-k, how difficult was the installation? Any issues with using Android Auto or Car Play wirelessly?
