I would love to see an option in cables to have the factory include two options if choosing to have RCA cable output (after factory head unit) where the audio output from the RSNAV is already merged into the outputs from the factory head unit connector.

  • Option 1: Solder in RCA cables for RF / LF output. two channel output only, but the input to the two channels is summed from the RF/RR & LF/LR channels. The idea is to gather the output after RSNAV audio has been merged, so that all audio is included when being amplified from the aftermarket amplifier.

  • Option 2: Solder in RCA cables from all four separately, allowing for a four channel signal to be managed from the head unit. For people that still want to run a four channel system with an aftermarket amplifier instead of the factory amplifiers.

The quality of the connectors should match that of the RSNAV, high quality. This will continue to differentiate the RSNAV unit from all of the others, with options no one else is offering, and to use high quality parts, not cheap RCA cables and ends.

What apps would produce 4 channel output? I understand having 2 channels out so they could be feed into a sound processor / amplifier.
