Sounds like the RSNAV is trying to convert to the wrong resolution for the Audi interface? I'm not sure where the original Audi display resolution setting is controlled from. What did you change when it stopped working? Did you apply a firmware(software) update? I'm guessing you might have selected the wrong image update file to apply?

Thanks friend for the help, I'm grateful.
I have not changed anything, I have only done a reset of the rsnav device because I had some problems connected to some app that I have not installed anymore, I have only done a reset device, and from there it does not go anymore, I repeated several times the restoration in hope that it was working again, but nothing. I checked cables but it's ok. Do you exit a hidden menu or settings where I can try to change something? I don't use it with many installed applications, and in the past it worked well.

When you say "the restoration", do you mean this procedure ? If not try that. That should be the "when everything fails " software recovery solution. If that doesn't work then it must be hardware related.

Sorry I can’t provide more help as I’ve not used this before myself. It should also work for Android 6 if that is what you’re currently running. Just choose the right system image from the google drive folder (see wiki.rsnav.com, currenlty on mobile so can’t link it)

guys a piece of advice, considering that it seems that I am forced to do this update to solve my problem, do you advise me to stay with Android 6 or at this point, considering the situation, I should upgrade to Android 7? what would you do

if you make use of the 3g/4g(?) modem I'd stick with Android 6. I think most complaints on Android 7 have been due to functionality that uses the SIM card not working reliably. Some users like TimWatts have been running Android 7 stable for a long time, but I also know he doesn't use the SIM card related functionality. I tend to follow the "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" principle and that's why I'm still on Android 6.

thank you friend, I follow your advice, my device works very well, apart from this bug .. as I wrote above I am not very good at doing this job, and I think I can get help from a friend this weekend .. one last question for understand better, will I have to update rsnav with the hw3.0 folder? I have to do both folders, that is, I explain myself better, do I have to update the modem even if I stay in Android 6? Thank you for your patience and I hope this can help other kids in need like me. thanks

hw 1.0 = hardware 1.0
hw 2.0 = hardware 2.0
hw 3.0 = hardware 3.0

Choose the version that matches with your device, I don't know when you purchased the device.
You can probably find it in the order confirmation email. It's also decodable from the serial number on the back of the device, but I don't remember where I saw how to do that.

I don't know. I have never done this procedure before. It is best to be prepared for the worst case scenario. Good luck and let us know if it worked out.

Good morning guys, I don't have good news. Following the instructions on rsnav I updated the device, not knowing my "HW" I tried to contact DANIEL, (as I have done in the past for this problem) but I do not respond to emails .. I tried by number of series to understand what hardware to do, and I decided to do hw 2.0, because my device is dated "1806", I performed update 1 and update 2 (CAN BUS RSNAV) corrected, but I did not 3 (MCU) not I know if doing it, because it advises you before contacting RSNAV, do you think I should do it?
I made all the updates via SD card. My device continues to flicker when I open the Audi menu, I don't know what to do anymore, my Audi menu serves me, and if I can't find a solution I find myself forced to remove the RSnav device after only a year .. can anyone help me?

can you take a short video clip to show how it is flickering?

I'm just thinking / wondering if it is video interference? wiring too close to canbus or electrical interference?
